Personal philosophy

As of 2019, my teenager is now going on 16 years old, hard to believe, but true! Our son Alex is truly my biggest inspiration for my life and businesses. A funny thing happens when you have a child, everything you thought was important goes by the wayside, as it did for me at least, and I was in love at first sight. His mirthful joy, sense of humor, extreme intelligence as an advanced learner as a young student kept me focused on finding things to challenge him. Between the ages of 8-10 or so I made him talk to the Microsoft tech people about our computer situations, on purpose making him do so, (at first he refused, but I pushed him to follow through) which I knew would give him confidence. Our son is naturally skilled with computers, and to see his face light up with enthusiasm and encouragement as the tech assistant commended him on his understanding and skill with computers at such a young age will forever stay in my heart. Do you challenge your children, or teens to be their best selves? We as parents I think should push them out of their comfort zones, into areas where they shine, where things come so easily to them, their natural abilities, albeit different than yours. They were not born to adopt our view of life, for they have come to be the leaders of tomorrow, and we cannot follow them where they are going. If we are fortunate enough, we will be beside them, sharing their joys and sorrows along the way. Our son is a junior now, and is already taking college classes, I am so proud of him! And he inspires me to be my best self, to take my own capabilities to the next level. From an artist, to an investor saving up for our first house! You help inspire me to be the best version of myself, for I couldn’t have gotten where I am without you. Just you wait, one day we will have our own house! Living in rentals has been our past, but I am working hard as a single Mom, to prove to myself that I can buy our own home. Thank you Alex, from the bottom of my heart, for allowing me to be your Mother, I am beyond blessed to have you in my life, we all are. You continue to amaze me, and it is exciting to see where you take your life by the helm, and what and where you will decide to study in the near future.

Painting will always be a part of my life, after supporting us for over 20 years, with that of the help of family and friends, it is time to plan for the later years, and college for our son, which is right around the corner. Lately I am learning how to self educate, in stocks, real estate and also surplus funds as a private investigator/heir locator. Having a paralegal degree, Bachelors, I have had the pleasure of doing some freelance paralegal work (case briefs, court prep documents, etc.) for friends, and other business associates. Being independent by nature, I work better for myself and am finding my paralegal training assisting in the research as an investigator. There is currently over $4Billion in surplus funds that is owed to people in California alone. I am fortunate to have both of my parents in my life, and help to take care of them, as they do me. We help each other, and I am grateful our son has had a lot of time with them growing up. For someday, they will be gone, but only in body since we never really die, we just change shape to become free of the body.

Between painting projects, finding unclaimed property for grateful people, caring for my parents, and being a Mother to an amazing teenager, I am very busy. Having an extreme faith in God, and spirituality, all things can be accomplished.  And I believe in growing ourselves with personal growth is very important, especially as we get older, for getting out of our comfort zone is the only way to truly grow, though not many people choose to do so.  Also, having lost 60 pounds in the last three years, enjoy connecting to Nature, and Mother Earth, birding, chanting Sanskrit for peace and empowerment, attending church at times, meditating and connecting to my Higher Self which is God living in each one of us. We are made in the image of love, never in the image of fear, so next time you look in the mirror, remember if you don’t like what you see, you may be comparing yourself to someone else or another version of yourself, or who you used to be. But we change, our bodies change, does your view of self have to be poor? It is a choice, self-love is the new superpower, always has been actually. For when you can be self-actualizing and know that you are loved, and solid in your sense of self, you can then emanate that outward to the world. Then, see how your life will shift as a direct reflection of your attitude. It is our perceptions, and thoughts that cause us to feel the way we do. (If you wish to change, you must first change your thoughts. But be patient, it takes 21-28 days I have heard, to develop a new habit). Because the pure light within each of us, is the God spark that emanates outward, and through our eyes, and our electromagnetic heart, to the world. We are all One, what affects one, affects us all.   And through my walk over the last fifteen years, I have found that if we wish ill will on anyone else, that only means we are hurting ourselves. Being angry at someone, the Buddha said, is like holding a hot coal in our hand, it burns ourselves. And just know, when others hurt you, it is because they themselves have been hurt. For hurt people hurt others. I have come to experience that first hand, and now have nothing but compassion and forgiveness for those who have chosen to judge me. Artists, poets, creative thinkers, dreamers, and healers, we are the fabric of life. We weave the undercurrent of feelings, unspoken thoughts, through songs, paintings stories, poems, and intertwine them all as soul weavers of humankind. Imagine a culture without these? They do not exist. For I know, that whatever someone does to harm another, they do out of trying to protect themselves, as a result of someone teaching them that at some point in their lives, it was ok to hurt another, their families, and unfortunately can also end up hurting themselves in the process, since what you give out comes back to you.

Please don’t hold grudges, and do personal development work, in order to work through your issues people. For I have chosen to do this myself and refuse to pass onto our son, anything other than loving kindness, compassion and forgiveness. And every day, our son teaches me the same, as I see my teaching coming full circle, when he looks at me with his bright blue eyes, such an old, wise soul, reminding me to be forgiving and compassionate. We are being watched, as parents, please pass on the kind of habits you would like your children and teens to have. They pick up more of what we do, than what we say. Thank God I have been able to experience first hand what it is like to be a Mother, a privilege I share with his Dad and Stepmom, who he has chosen to live with and is excelling!! We are all blessed to have him in our lives.

Please contact me for any painting job, or even if you have painting questions, or would like to learn a particular style of painting, or a project, I have been known to teach art also. And if you think you or someone you know may have any unclaimed funds, or would like to find out, I’m your gal!
